IDE_552–Journal Entry 7

~This is for IDE_552 class~

We’re halfway into the semester, and I still cannot understand how my website will look like. However, Celestia required us to think of the three websites that we want our website to look like. For me these are: wired.com; epam.com; smallpdf.com. Of the three, I like the smallpdf.com the best–because it conveys the message in the most clear way; however, I like the navigation bar in the epam.com website; in wired.com I like underlining for hyperlinks.

My primary navigation would consist of five elements: Home, About Me, Portfolio, Course Summary, Resume, Self-Evaluation, and an “email me” icon. I also looked at some people’s portfolios (1, 2), they had more sections, perhaps I could add them later.

I like Questrial font, Source Sans Pro, Cambria, and Georgia. Any of those four will do. The color palette would include one or two colors, perhaps yellow-ish / orange-ish, or both.

The pictures for website. I like sunflowers and other random things.
